Karl-el Santos

Karl-el Santos (1998) is a Barcelona-based actor who grew up in Girona, in a home where Spanish and Equatoguinean roots met. That duality shapes his curiosity about human behaviour and the way he approaches character.

He trained in on-camera acting and dramatic arts at La Diana, and with Esteve Rovira, Laia Espot, Dafnis Balduz and In Extremis, where he specialised in action for actors.

He plays Torres, part of Inspector Cortez’s team led by Natalia Tena, in Season 2 of The Assassin for Prime Video, premiering on 6 November 2026 in the UK and Ireland, alongside Keeley Hawes and Freddie Highmore. His television credits include Justo in Stags (Paramount+), Mano de hierro (Netflix), Yo, adicto (Disney+), Mrs. Davis and the TV3 series Com si fos ahir. On film, he appears in The Map That Leads to You and the short films Twist of Faith, La noche salvaje and Liminal.

In commercials, he has worked for brands including Adidas, in the F50 campaign alongside Lamine Yamal, as well as Budweiser, PokerStars and Taco Bell. He also writes and directs: his first short film, LUCÍA, is in post-production.
